Collin's puppy, Yukon...

This post is only about Yukon. :) But, in order to justify adding it to Collin's blog I had to point out that Yukon is Collin's puppy (hence the title of this post). Yesterday, Chauncey turned the sprinkler on in the backyard and (nosy) Yukon had to mess with it. It reminded me of when he was only about 6 weeks old -- we had a sprinkler in the backyard and every time he would go outside he would go straight to the sprinkler to mess with it. He started out just "playing" with it and the next thing we knew he chewed the whole thing up! Oh, along with the water hose!

So, not too long ago, we bought a different kind of sprinkler (all metal) and a "hideaway" box for the water hose. Since we usually leave Yukon outside while we are at work, today was his 1st day with the new water hose, sprinkler and "hideaway" box. Chauncey and I both laughed a little bit this morning wondering what it would all look like when we got home. Surprisingly, when Chauncey got home he found that Yukon hadn't done anything to the stuff. Good thing for Yukon because he probably would have gotten a pretty big "spanking!" :)

Back to the orignial story...Last night, as we stood outside and watched Yukon try to dodge the water from the sprinkler, I couldn't help but film a little bit of it. The first clip below is Yukon with the sprinkler and the second clip is Yukon running around in the backyard.

For comparison, check out the pictures on the right of Yukon and his first encounter with the sprinkler as a puppy (almost exactly a year ago). Wasn't he such a cute puppy?? I can't believe he is only 1 year and 2 months old - he is so big! Make no mistake, he is such a spoiled puppy and requires lots of attention!
